Our services are held at... Horley Baptist Church, 289 Court Lodge Road, Horley. RH6 8RG and also online.   Some groups meet online at the moment but groups are gradually starting back at the church.  Check what's happening this week in our weekly newsletter... 'YOURS'

Our services seek to balance the informal with a deep sense of the sacred in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Recognising the rich variety and tradition of Christian spirituality, we aim to allow for creativity and imagination in our worship.  Our desire is to provide an environment in which all are enabled to meet with God, so that visitors and more established worshippers feel comfortable and safe as they explore their relationship with God and each other.

Services are relaxed, have no dress code and last for about an hour and a half. They include worship through songs and prayers, the reading of the Bible and a Christian message. We usually celebrate communion on the third Sunday of the month in the morning service.

Children & Youith:

At the morning service there is a crèche for children aged 0-3, two children's Groups for children aged 3-5 (MiniKids) and 5-11 (HisKids) and a  group for young people in school years 7 to 9 (Connected). The children and Young People normally leave for their group during the first 15-20 minutes of the service.  (An announcement is made when the groups should leave and there are plenty of people on hand to show newcomers where to go!)

We have a number of people attending the services with special needs and we celebrate a diversity of expression within the fellowship.  A large print copy of the song words is available at our morning services for those who would find that helpful.  Some of our congregation are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. There is an induction loop set up in the room.  Within the congregation are qualified level 3 BSL signers who are willing to interpret services where there is a need. Please contact the church office for more details.

At service there are refreshments and the opportunity to stay and chat with others. There is also opportunity to pray with someone about more personal matters, if people so wish.
